About the Job
Denori Designs
Interior Design Project Manager
Contractors, FF&E and Installs

Hospitality design that performs:
Denori Designs designs interiors and procures furniture, fixtures and equipment for short-term rental owners and boutique hotels. Our designs are strong and clients keep coming. What we need now is the person who gets every project from client kickoff to finished install, on time and on budget.

You own delivery:
You will run every Denori client project from client kickoff, right after the design agreement is signed. You set the schedule, hold contractors to it, track every order from vendor to site, and keep the budget tight. When you do this well, projects run without the owner, and our team and clients always know what is next. That frees the owner to grow the company and create more opportunities for the entire team, including you.
This is not a design role. You will not pick finishes or draw floor plans. You make sure what our designers draw gets built, delivered and installed the way it was promised.

Year one: what you will own:
  • All active projects, from day one. You will take over 11 projects in your first 90 days, each with a live schedule you own.
  • Installs that land on the date promised. 90% of installs finish within 5 business days of the date set at kickoff.
  • Projects that land on budget. 90% finish within 5% of the approved budget. Every change gets written up, approved by the client and billed.
  • A system that scales. You will write the project playbook: kickoff, schedule template, contractor vetting, weekly client updates, punch list and closeout. By the end of year one it should let us run 20+ projects at once without slipping.

Who you are:
  • Experience: 5+ years running interior, renovation or FF&E projects with contractors, ideally hospitality or residential.
  • Contractor control. You hold trades to dates and scope, in person or from 1,000 miles away, without burning the relationship.
  • Sequencing. You know how lead times, freight and site readiness fit together, and you see a slip weeks before it hits.
  • Cost discipline. You track budgets line by line and turn scope creep into a change order, not a favor.
  • Ownership. When something breaks, you bring the problem and a fix. Nothing falls through because it was not technically yours.
  • Client relationship. You are the main point of contact for every client from kickoff through closeout. You build trust, set clear expectations, handle hard conversations early, and leave owners happy to refer us.
  • Team deadlines. You keep designers, procurement and vendors on track. You check in regularly, spot what is at risk, clear roadblocks and follow up until deadlines are met.
  • Client and team satisfaction. You shape how it feels to work with Denori. Owners finish the install ready to refer us, and the designers, vendors and trades on the job want the next one with you. The goal: 90% of clients rate their experience 9 or 10 out of 10 at closeout.
  • Central communication hub. Every project runs through you. Clients, team members, vendors and contractors all come to you for the answer, and you keep them pointed the same direction.
  • Systems. You write down what works so the next project runs smoother than the last.

Be honest with yourself: this role is not for you if:
  • You want to design. Our designers design.
  • You need someone telling you what to do next.
  • You would rather keep the peace with a contractor than hold the date.

What this role pays:
  • $80,000 per year, plus benefits.
